After the initial excitement of record-breaking warm weather in Toronto, Environment Canada has now issued a freezing rain warning.

Sudburians can expect some nasty driving conditions Monday as freezing rain moves into the area.

While the precipitation will likely be light and sporadic, a light glaze of ice could cause roads to become slick, according to the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.

Evening rain showers will taper off around midnight with temperatures slowly falling for their highs the past few days.

The dense fog may affect Monday morning's commute due to reduced visibility. This one looks to bring us mainly rain, but some ice is also possible. Winds will increase at that time and lake effect snow will begin.
