Prince of Wales, Prince Charles has observed and kept the Sabbath Day holy as he joined Christians to worship at the Accra Ridge Church as part of his five-day visit in Ghana.

Prince Charles begun his tour of Africa from Gambia together with his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

At a State Dinner hosted by the President of The Gambia, Prince Charles paid tribute to the country.

"The visit will celebrate our shared values and culture, and highlight the significant ties between the people of the United Kingdom and Ghana, alongside Ghanaians and members of the Diaspora - on both sides - who embody this contemporary, dynamic partnership", the British High Commission has said.

The Prince and his spouse Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, were received by Gambian President Adama Barrow and his wife, Fatou Bah-Barrow.

His visit to the three countries from the 31st October to 8th November is made at the request and on behalf of the British government.
