Alec Baldwin arrested in NY after dispute over parking spot

Actor Alec Baldwin, most recently famous for his comic impersonations of U.S. President Donald Trump, was arrested on Friday in NY over a fight for a parking spot, police said.

Police said the men were arguing and pushed each other before Baldwin, 60, turned violent.

Baldwin punched the man in the jaw, the celebrity news site TMZ reports.

Alec Baldwin owns a penthouse apartment in Devonshire House, a luxury apartment building on 28 East 10th street, in New York's upscale Greenwich Village. If you've ever tried to park in the Big Apple, you likely feel his pain, but Baldwin is accused of taking things to the next level - fisticuffs with a stranger - and has been arrested.

Baldwin and his wife share four children, Romeo, 5 months, Leonardo, 2, Rafael, 3, and Carmen, 5.

In 2014, Baldwin was arrested and placed in handcuffs after becoming "belligerent" with a police officer who stopped him for riding his bicycle in the wrong direction down Fifth Avenue.

Baldwin, who portrays President Donald Trump on "SNL", also yelled a profane comment during the alleged melee.

This is a breaking story.
