Adobe Releases 'All-in-one' Video Editing App Premiere Rush for Creating Social Video

The announcement comes following Adobe's annual Max conference, where the company also announced other apps and features along the way. one of the biggest announcements is Premiere Rush CC though, with Adobe clearly going toe-to-toe with Apple's iMovie.

According to Adobe, Photoshop CC features the same codebase as that of its desktop counterpart. Designers and creators will be able to make as many layers as they want to when starting a project on Photoshop on iPad, just like on the desktop version.

Like the coming release of Photoshop CC for iPad, Premier Rush CC brings full-featured desktop-like tools to mobile platforms.

Adobe is launching a suite of iPad apps for graphics pros, including a full version of Photoshop. Adobe hasn't confirmed pricing for the iPad version of the program.

With the same code base in place, Photoshop CC on the iPad will be almost indistinguishable from the desktop app, save for some adjustments to the user interface and the addition of touch gestures.
