Over two weeks since her shock disappearance, the family of missing university student Molly Tibbetts have not given up hope.

Kevin Winker, investigative operations director for the Iowa Department of Public Safety, said Friday he knows the tight-lipped approach is frustrating for people who are eager to know what happened to 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts.

Authorities plan to update the investigation and will provide more statistics on other missing persons cases in Iowa.

Anyone with information was encouraged to call Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa at 1-800-452-1111 or visit www.crimestoppersofcentraliowa.com, where tips can be anonymously submitted. Her disappearance has gained national attention. Mollie Tibbetts' mother, Laura Calderwood, believes she may have been abducted.
